reading the README for special instructions concerning multi-CD games might be a start...

ok ive had a look at the read me but all i found was this :

3.6) The Curse of Monkey Island notes:
---- ---------------------------------
For this game, you'll need the comi.la0, comi.la1 and comi.la2 files. The
comi.la0 file can be found on either CD, but since they are identical it
doesn't matter which one of them you use.

In addition, you'll need a resource subdirectory with all of the files from the
resource subdirectories on both CDs. Some of the files appear on both CDs, but
again they're identical.

to be honest, i havnt got a clue what it means or how to do it.
im not doing this for me, its for my mother who loves these old games, there the only ones she'll play so if anyone could help out id be very grateful, thanks

Well, you should copy the files from the two CDs onto your HD. The README instructions tell you which files you have to copy.
