Supercard help!??1

Post by Sunflash »

I have followed the online guide to the letter but I get a zip file check not in use error I dont know if I have used the right files do i use the scummvm-a.gba.ds directly form the scummvm archive i downloaded and rename that? Do I convert the files to scummwithdata-a.gba.ds then rename them? what does it mean exactly my Game directories, directly form the Cd or the folders that appear when scumm games are installed?

cheers.-

1) Put your game files (from the floppy disks) in a zip with the right name
2) Run the right batch file
3) Rename scummvm-?-withdata.ds.gba to scummvm.nds
4) Copy scummvm.nds to your card and run it

Note that CD versions don't work with the ZIP method.

Thank you so much! okay after doing this all that happens is that my games either crash the ds and turn it of or show a black scrren. I am using the VGA floppy files, do i need to use different source files for monkey island 1 + 2 or DOTT or Sam and max (these are the games i have tried.

If you're not using v0.61, can you try that version to see if it makes any difference.

For Lucasarts games rename scummvm-a.ds.gba to scummvm.nds.

Put this file directly onto the supercard, don't use supercard software.

Put game files (as listed here http://www.scummvm.org/documentation.php?view=datafiles) into separate folders, monkey1, monkey2, dott etc. There's no need to zip them with Supercard.

Run scummvm.nds on your DS and point it at correct folders for each game.

As agentq says, make sure you're using 0.61 version.
