Post by 801 »

im trying to play indiana jones and the fate of atlantis on windows xp, and the music works (although it sounds awful) but the speach doesnt. i tried fooling around with the sound settings but nothing works. if someone it is supported isnt it? if someone can figure this out, it would help. thanks.

The voice-overs should be in a file called monster.sou. Assuming you're playing the game from hard disk, did you copy that file from your CD?

There are CD's versions of the game that don't have speech. As eriktorbjorn said, if there is no "monster.sou"-file on the disc, you got a non-talkie version :(

Hello,

I've got the same problem as the original poster in this thread, but I have got the monster.sou file.

Am I not mounting something properly?

thanks.

How big is your monster.sou file? Have you tried copying it again from the CD?
