Good start. I can see we generally have the same idea :) The majority of the theme is already quite advanced, so there isn't really much point spending too much time on it. I'm always happy for help, but even if you did finish yours - I would just have to readd all the custom templates etc anyway. E...

The only extra server is the forum/wiki server... and you can blame me for any slowdowns on this end :)

Thanks for the info. So all polite methods seem to be exhausted and very rude approach (like AK-47 :D ) is probably not an option for affable and peaceful ScummVM developers. But would not be possible and helpful to get direct contact with the guy who has the code? Apparently not. And there would b...

Thats good news. Although I don't know how asking for a few progress request updates could delay anything :) Anyway, the replies to these, which I remember discussing with you on IRC, was the basis for my comment earlier. But as I said, I couldn't speak for him, it was just my impression of prioriti...

Unfortunately, I don't have direct contact with the guy who actually has the code, so it's hard to apply more pressure without being very rude to the intermediary :)

Theres no real technical problem in integrating the port. Its just that agentq (author of the port you mention) doesn't seem particularly interested in making it an official port... Of course, I can't speak for him, but thats the gist I got. I do have a partly-functional port based off the official ...

That said, I have used a Watcom Intuos tablet with ScummVM before. That was WITHOUT the Watcom software installed however, and with ScummVM running in Windowed mode. I don't know if either of these might make a difference. Googling shows some problems SDL has with tablets in fullscreen reporting sma...

Indeed. Double-clicking on a DMG in Mac OS X will mount it as a new volume on your desktop.

If your not using Mac OS X, you downloaded the wrong file and its useless to you :) Go back and get the RIGHT version for your operating system.

One would think that with one of LucasArts' high-profile coders (Aaron Giles) also being a major contributor on the MAME project, LEC would be a little more friendly towards open-source projects. SCUMM v2.0 seems to have been his work as well (the Win32 version which drives the LucasArts Entertainm...

Who made Toonstuck?

I'm aware of several titles using the Kyra engine, but they are all Westwood titles... Toonstuck wasn't, was it?

(yeah yeah, why go to MobyGames when I can increase my forum post count :)

Any news on the forums update? I've fallen behind in this thanks to RL (eg, no-job) issues. Thats not really an excuse, because it obviously means I've got more free time, but I have to sort out a way to pay the bills first :) I could push the update as-is, but I'd prefer to finish it up first. Exp...

I suggest the problem is that you don't have any of the lower-resolution modes defined, hence X can't modeswitch. Make sure your xorg.conf / XF86Config has at least 800x600 and 640x480 in modes for your current screen. Eg: Section "Screen" Identifier "Screen0" Device "GF6600...

It largely depends on whether you end up dealing with a company or individuals. Also, of course, whether you are a non-profit group like us... or a company that already has legal staff on retainer. But as with anything, you could always spend more money. The example below could take from 3-12 months...

AFAIK, there is generally no point reencoding BS2 cutscenes.

The audio for these is not including in the cutscene files, unlike in BS1, but actually in the game itself. So you'll hear German, English, whatever your version of BS2 is, with just the normal BS2 cutscene pack.
