Tried a zip file and it unzipped fine but Broken Sword still won't play. I've got exactly the same problem as in this thread http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?p=17686&sid=489ea7c4b45fa9fc82efe19258b4fdfb but my permissions are fine. I didn't run out of space on my netbook, still got 6GB fr...

- I have done and the errors still persist. It's also happened on all the other OS's I've tried on my netbook (all derived from Ubuntu). I thought it might be an error with the files on the USB stick but they all work fine and I've tried replaced them with the original files. Could it have something...

Take a look at http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Dataf ... 7s_Revenge. It will tell you all the files you need to copy off the CD to run the game. As far as I know they just need to be in the same folder.

Odd linux problem

I've got an odd problem when trying to play games on my Linux powered netbook. I'll run through the steps I took to show you what I mean. First I used the Scummvm tools to compress all the files I could on my windows machine, then copied all the files I need to run the games onto a USB stick and put...

Yeah, that's alright. I just thought that those songs were somehow an improved version that could be accessed with the right game configuration. I'll try the new soundfonts and see if the improvement is enough to give up the 'nostalgia' sound. EDIT: At least I will when raina posts more detailed ins...

I can post more detailed instructions if anybody is interested. I'd be interested :D. The way I understand it is that the game sends sheet music to the MIDI controller which then plays it using the soundfonts it has. If that is the case then the same music will be played in the game, just with bett...

Thanks, I was worried it would be something like that. At least the music is the same as I remember so it's got that lovely nostalgic feel :)

Lucas Soundtrack

On this website ( http://soundtracks.mixnmojo.com/ ) are many very nicely done soundtracks for Lucas arts games. However the quality of the songs seems much greater than in my actual games so I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get the same quality in-game? I tried all the different dri...
