Hello, this issue is not relevant to the Android Port version of ScummVM so I am moving the topic to the "Other Ports" subforum.
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with RetroPie at all, so I cannot help further.

Re: ScummVM Tools: extract_mohawk
We do have people that have active or past fan translation projects for classic point and click games in the forum here and on the ScummVM discord. Their availability of course is not guaranteed, but perhaps they would notice the thread here or a post on Discord and repond on their leisure time, pro...

Re: Android Port MT-32 Support
Hello, Does the current build for Android include MT-32 support? I've tried using the extras folder, and putting the MT-32 files in individual folders and I have no success. I've set the global options to have GM device - use first available, and MT-32 Device - MT-32 emulator. Checking to see what ...

Re: Scummvm 2.8.0 - Gobliiins 5 - black characters
I think I kind of see the bug, but for me it only happens when I intenionally hit one of the system buttons (the square one, or the round one), and the app gets moved (with a quick scaling animation) to the background or restored from the background. It's temporary for me though, the black spots get...

Re: Scummvm 2.8.0 - Gobliiins 5 - black characters
Greetings! If run Gobliiins 5 on Android Scummvm 2.8.0 (Pixel 4A - Android 11) there is a bug in the game where all the fonts and menus on the intro screen are black. The same goes then when you start the game all the characters and items are also black (like shadows). If I run the game on Windows ...

Re: Can't start games due to save game path...
On AmigaOS4 they found a workaround You must create a "save1" directory in the scummvm directory and configure the gobliiins 5 game to save the directory "save1". Hmm, this is interesting. So (at least the AmigaOS4 issue) is it indeed connected to the Cloud saving feature as the...

Re: Android TV ?
We had to remove the "TV supported" category from our Manifest file when we published the 2.7.1 on Google's Play Store, since a change in Google's policy is blocking the publishing of APK packaged apps that declare TV support. For 2.8.0 we switched (we had to) to the app bundle publishing ...

Re: Can't start games due to save game path...
I downloaded the Ash Pines demo and purchased Red Bow from Stranga. When I try to play the games in ScummVM, it states ERROR: Invalid attempt to create file - /saves/ashpines-demo.999 or ERROR: Invalid attempt to create file - /saves/redbow.999 I am using ScummVM 2.8.0 (official release), however I...

Re: Escape From Monkey Island
Not working on the new daily build for me. I played it once through on a daily build awhile ago, did they completely delete support for this game even on daily builds? Hello, you may have downloaded a wrong build. It's working as it should for me (daily build 2.9.0git from Jan 21, 2024 13:48:45). T...

Re: Issues adding Sanitarium and broken sword 1
Doh, Data folder for Sanitarium worked. I'm glad it worked! Broken Sword, I'm not sure exactly version of it, but it's not the remastered version. Broken Sword using the same files has previously worked with earlier versions. Since a couple of ScummVM releases back, the detection for the Broken Swo...

Re: Issues adding Sanitarium and broken sword 1
I’ve been a long time (many years) user and I absolutely love scummvm, but have never posted before. I’ve used scummvm on many platforms and now I jumped to a new platform, Mac M2. The games that I have added are more or less untouched over the years, and to my surprise when I started to add games ...

Re: Pegasus Prime Crash
A fix for this video crash (the problematic file is "PP Data/Images/AI/Caldoria/XAE1") is now on the main repository code and will be part of the future daily development builds (for 2.9.0git)
The fix is also backported for a potential 2.8.1 release.

Re: Pegasus Prime Crash
I'm trying out The Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime DVD version from GOG and get a crash at the start of a new game. At the begining of the game the player can click on two options at the bottom of the screen "Mission Briefing" and "Environ Scan" If Environ Scan is selected, Sc...

Re: Steam Launch Options for ScummVM Games
To be honest, I am a bit confused. I know it could work with the change I've proposed, but that change is still in a PR code under review here: (https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/pull/5605) Did it work for you with ScummVM 2.8.0 as is? It shouldn't, since -p expects a folder path, and currently, wi...

Re: Problem unpacking syberia games
7-zip does seem to be able to extract the pkg. But, for me (Win 10, 7-zip v23.01), it also shows a warning about "There are some data after the end of the payload data".
So, I chose to play it safe and go with the linux "unar".
