Re: Where Are The New Shaders Stored?
I'm on Win10. So the included built-in shaders are inside the EXE and not stored as loose files? There are no extra shaders in my Icons folder. It refuses to download. My ScummVM folder is on a different drive so it's not an ownership issue and launching as Admin doesn't work either. Also, manually ...

Re: Where Are The New Shaders Stored?
Where are the shaders stored? I can't seem to find the files. And the update feature seems to be broken. It detects 1 new pack at 23 MB but when I go to download it I get the error "ERROR -1: SessionRequestFile: unable to open file to download into".

Re: Favourite shader?
I haven't tried this latest version yet with shaders, but is there an included colour quantizing shader? My favourite pastime with shaders is quantizing a game's colours to different custom palettes like EGA, C64, CGA (and all its flavours), NES, etc or any palette I'd want to build.

Re: AGS incorrect scaling
I can indeed confirm that the AGDI and IA Sierra remakes' graphics were created WITHOUT aspect ratio correction so it should be disabled when playing.

Re: Remastering speech using Adobe Enhance Speech AI?
I tried this out with some Sierra games and had stellar results with King's Quest 5 (possibly the Sierra talkie with the worst quality dialogue recordings). Couldn't believe it. It doesn't work on everything though as its model is not really trained to enhance audio from lower sampling and bitrates....

Re: Monkey 1 Ultimate Talkie Edition (released)
MI1's music had two forms: in MIDI (for the floppy version) and CD audio (for the CD version). MI1:SE is based on the CD version so all the music is just straight track replacements. Not too complicated. MI2's music has always been MIDI however and uses a newer MIDI music system called iMuse which i...

I don't feel like Veda was being antagonistic at all. Perhaps a language barrier is a factor at worst here causing a miscommunication in tone?

MiLO83 did the same thing with some tools he made in conjunction with utilizing Cupscale so it allows you to extract resources from SCI games and upscale them in batch processing.

Re: Which games would you like to be supported on the future?
I understand that what engines that are added to ScummVM rest entirely on whichever individual chooses to take up the mantle, but has anyone ever considered adding the "Desktop Adventures" engine to ScummVM? The two games Indiana Jones and his Desktop Adventures and Star Wars Yoda Stories....

Re: King's Quest 1 Redux?
Any and all new AGI fangames are supported in ScummVM as long as you import it as "Fanmade AGI game (Unknown v2 Game/DOS)" as you did. You can rename it later but clicking "Game Options" and editing the title field. There's no more real support to be made other than to recognize ...

Re: can't find games - ScummVM 2.6.0 Wii4.3
You have to add each game's direct folder individually one at a time. Either that or use the Mass Add feature which scans a folder's subdirectories for games it recognizes. But you might get some false positives this way, duplicate entries, or games detected as something they're not. If you have the...

Re: Steamdeck ScummVM required?
Oh hey look at that! What a weird place to put that option. So then on the Steam Deck you can bind a button or control for those games to Alt+S and turn off the filtering at will easily.
