Re: Sam and Max talkie

Hey hey!! I think i have found a bit of a functionality bug (i think) with ScummVM and Sam and Max >.> Playing the Sam and Max talkie atm and im on the revolving restaurant, enjoying the view. Anyhoo, once you have jammed the wires in to the binoculars so that you can control the rotation its not p...

Well, not exactly, but they did post me a PM to say I've been approved to receive one, so I should get one soon. Unfortunately the PM was waiting on their site for a month, since I don't visit the DSX site very often. Whoops! Now I've sent them my address, I may well receive one soon. In the meanti...

I have a DS-X and in my opinion it is worth the money. It is really simple to use but has it's limitations. Biggest advantage though is that it is a standalone product and does not require anything else to function. Just take a completly unmodified Nintendo DS and you are ready to go. If you are loo...

I tried 0.61 and 0.91 with the new an updated 1.02 DS-X firmware. Both versions run correctly but savestates with 0.91 seem to get corrupted as with the older firmware. I tried Sam'n'Max and Monkey Island 1 with 0.91 and my Sam'n'Max states are all useless, my MI1 states do work, however I have not ...

I definetly will and keep you posted. The weather is as bad as it can be anyways so staying at home tonight is more fun anyways. Could be that I fall asleep over my DS after about half an hour though because I am quite tired. Anyway, I am off to test the new firmware.

I tried 0.9.1 Beta 6 with SC SD detection and it sais SCSD!Found flash card reader. I played Monkey Island and Sam'n'Max a little and used about 6 saves both with and without SCSD. Monkey Island worked in both modes (I could load all of my 6 saves) but my Sam'n'Max Saves resulted memory allocation e...

Well, I finished Fate of Atlantis and tested older betas. I could not find Beta 1 and 2 of 0.9.1 but I tried Beta 3 up to 6. Beta 3 finds a flash card reader, adding games works, but running games is impossible. Monkey Island 1 is the only game that doesn't crash before something is displayed. The L...

I am talking about 0.61 (which runs fine, all my saves survived the night so to speak). 0.9 Beta6 (which is identical to 0.9.1 according to the release notes) corrupts about every file it writes. I guess I will be able to finish Fate of Atlantis today, after that, I will try all the 0.9 Betas throug...

When booting up it simply sais "Found Flash Card Reader". I did not force any detection. Then again, I never tried it on any other device because I only own a DS-X and nothing else. I played Fate of Atlantis (English CD, Speech) about 3 to 4 hours and used all 9 save slots. I tried to load...

I tried the beta6 a lot the last 2 days and have run into quite some problems. There is a lot of corruption going on when files are written. This does not only affect game saves but also scummvm's internal files, ie. scummvm.ini. Linebreaks seem to randomly switch between 0x0D 0x0A or only one of th...
